How do I run my first resume scan?

What file types can I upload?

PDF, DOCX, and TXT. PDF works best when it's text-based (exported from Word or Google Docs) — not a scanned image.

How do I cancel?

Go to Settings → Billing and click Cancel. Your Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Yes. Resumes are processed only for your scan, stored encrypted, and never shared, sold, or used to train models.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. From Settings, you can delete individual scans or your full account at any time. Deletion is permanent within 30 days.

My PDF won't parse correctly

Accepted Answer

This usually means the PDF was generated from an image or design tool. Try exporting from Word or Google Docs, or paste the text directly into the editor.

My score seems too low

ATS scores are JD-specific. Re-run the scan with the exact job description you're targeting — a generic JD will produce a generic score.

An AI rewrite changed something I didn't say

Report it via the feedback button on the rewrite card. We tune the rewriter monthly based on user reports.
